WHAT IS YOGA NIDRA?
Yoga nidra is an ancient form of meditation and relaxation, often translated as ‘yogic sleep’. It is normally practiced in savasana (lying down) making it accessible to all and requires no prior knowledge as you will be guided through the meditation. Yoga nidra is a state of awareness that allows the body to relax completely and the mind is between wakefulness and deep rest, reaching a state where healing can occur. For that reason yoga nidra is rapidly becoming known as a practice to help with problems like insomnia, stress, depression and many more. No previous experience is required for this workshop.

If you wish to participate in the program, you can come to our 45-60 minute taster of yoga nidra, it runs every Thursday, two days prior to the course's date, it is free of charge.
Tasters will be held on: Oct. 10, 2019. November 7th, 2019, January 16, 2020, February 20, 2020, and March 26, 2020. Time: 6 pm @ Abhijna White Hall.
